Now, Sir Ghettophones offers a service as a studio keyboardist, flutist, and saxophone player. Below is the current contract and prices.

What:

Keyboard performer/player Kurtas Parker will record tracks using his keyboard array for your use in your songs. If requested, with information provided, he can also fully write the keyboard parts to your desires. His keyboard styles are defined by the sounds built into Garage Band 08 (the mac audio and midi capture program) and the sounds in his two primary boards; Microkorg, and the Roland Juno-G. With these he can provide digital analog synth textures, and digital orchestras. Orchestration is an option. Additional services might include tenor saxophone and soprano flute.

Pricing:

Because of the expandable nature of this service, the pricing will be determined at the end of the project, with all the appropriate parts intact. A text (.txt unless otherwise requested) document will be sent with the project to act as a legal receipt.

Pricing method:

· $50 dollars initial cost. This cost includes; the start of the project, 1 track up to 5 minutes in length, and 5 undefined edits.

· $5 dollars for every additional track for the first 5 minutes of play.

· $6 dollars for every additional minute per track. ($1 ever 10 seconds of audio)

· $2 per edit/change that can be done inside the capturing program. (Excluding the initial 5)

· $8 per edit/change that requires re-capturing of the track. (Excluding the initial 5)

Defining terms:

This section will be used to define the terms used above in the pricing chart, to be clear what exactly you are being charged for.

· Minutes in the initial costs will be rounded in the following manner. If the track extends into the next minute by less that 21 seconds not including the 21st second it will be rounded down, however exceeding 20 seconds including the 21st second will be rounded up.

EXAMPLE: Run time 5:20 and 5:13 will be rounded to 5:00, 5:21 and 5:43 will be rounded to 6:00

· The cost of additional minutes will be charged in packages of 10 seconds, costing $1 for every 10 seconds of run time per track to make costs more accurate. (All costs will be rounded up to the next package)

EXAMPLE: If your additional minute only ran 20 seconds in place of a full minute, you would be charged $2 in place of the full $6.

· The 5 edits that come with the initial start package of $50, are not limited. Any of the two listed edits will be used, if multiple edits are used, only the first five edits will be counted as free. The purchaser will not be able to choose at contracts end, which ones they want to be free.

· The edits and changes being charged $2 “inside the capturing program” is limited to any change I make inside of Garage Band 08 and does not include recapture of the parts due revision.

Payment plan:

The initial project start fee of $50 must always be paid upfront, upon contract start. The remainder of the services will be charged at the project conclusion, with the text receipt.

All un-final takes will have random bits of white noise, until project is paid for. Upon receiving payment, a final set of tracks will be sent, rendered without the white noise. The final tacks will be sent as one track per audio file in .WAV standard, I will however upon request provide free conversions of other files types.

If payment is refused, a demand letter will be mailed. If the service remains unpaid, it will be sent to a collection agency, and upon received payment, the final tracks will still be sent.
